South Africa has over 1000 KFC restaurants nationwide, making it Africa’s biggest and fastest growing QSR. However, some places are far from the iconic taste, home to finger lickin' fans that often travel 100s of kilometres, sometimes once/twice a month, to satisfy the craving. So to further reinforce our creative platform; ‘Anything for the Taste’, we challenged ourselves to tell a story about the obsession of KFC, without there being KFC – centring our narrative in a part of South Africa that’s the farthest away from any KFC in the world.
